A graphic novel "Building Stories", de Chris Ware, foi a grande vencedora do prêmio Will Eisner deste ano --entregue na sexta-feira (19), durante a Comic-Con, em San Diego (Califórnia).
A obra levou 4 dos 5 troféus a que concorria, entre eles Melhor Álbum Gráfico - Inédito e Melhor Escritor/Ilustrador, e confirmou seu favoritismo.
Outra publicação em destaque foi "Saga", de Brian K. Vaughan e Fiona Staples, que ganhou três prêmios: Melhor Série, Melhor Nova Série e Melhor Escritor (para Vaughan).

"Hawkeye" e "Fatale" também lideravam a disputa com cinco indicações. No entanto, "Hawkeye" ganhou em apenas duas categorias e "Fatale" levou somente um prêmio.
"Building Stories", de Chris Ware, é composta por uma série de livros dispostos em uma caixa. O autor americano compilou dez anos de produção, incluindo trabalhos inéditos, em 14 edições com formatos distintos, que narram a vida de uma jovem e as aventuras de uma pequena abelha.
